About Academia Valcia

Academia Valcía was founded in Sanlúcar in 1993 with the objective of spreading the Spanish language and culture.
The school is accomodated in a typical Andalucian mansion dating from the 19th century. Situated in the town center and within walking distance of the beach. The school's patio is a perfect place for students and teachers to meet and chat during lesson breaks, to get together going out for tapas or for organizing a barbecue.
The familiar atmosphere together with the ampel selection of freetime activities help to feel comfortable right from the moment of arrival. It also offers the opportunity to really plunge in the Spanish way of live.

Method
All our native speaking teachers focus on the pratical use of the language. A lot of attention is paid to practice, in a way that students are able to express themselves clearly in common situations. Inside and outside the classroom you'll speak Spanish right from the first moment. The familiar atmosphere helps winning over fear and uncertainty when using the language.
We provide rapid progress by breaking down language barriars. The execeptional combination between culture and a dynamic language, practiced in small groups (average of five students) garantees quick study progress. We provide Spanish courses at all levels: A1 – A2, B1 – B2, C1 – C2, according to the Common European Framework of Reference.

Our team
Our young and dynamic team consists of linguists and specialists in tourism, all native speakers and experienced in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. The same goes for the organisation of cultural programs and excursions.
